Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD, in its capacity of the personal data controller, is obliged to inform you what to expect when your personal information is processed.

The information that might contain your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Human resources;
  • Counterparties;
  • Customers;
  • Video surveillance;
  • Visitors;
  • Complaints, reporting, and other claims;
  • Exercising of rights within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 before Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD in its capacity of the controller;
  • Internal records of infringements of  Regulation (EU) 2016/687 and the Personal Data Protection Act.
  • Notifications of a personal data breach.

Human resources

For the purposes of human resource management, we process the personal data of job applicants, as well as of present and former employees of Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD.

Over the course of human resource management activities data relating to natural person identification, data on education and qualifications, health status data, contact information, as well as other data required pursuant to special laws regulating employment relations, tax, and social security relations, accounting for activities, occupational safety, and health, as well as social affairs is processed.

The data thus collected is only used for the above-mentioned purposes and is provided to third parties only in the cases stipulated by law. In such cases, data can be provided, for example to the National Revenue Agency, the Audit Office, Labour Inspectorate DG, and other public bodies depending on their powers and competence. The information is not stored outside of the EU and the European Economic Area. Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD provides the appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data.

In connection with the implementation of employment relations, only the personal data required by law is processed, and it is stored for the periods of time stipulated in the labour and social security laws.

In the course of personnel selection, the requirements of special laws regulating this type of activity are adhered to.

Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD sets a period of three years for the storage of personal data belonging to participants in personnel selection procedures. 

The activities related to ensuring health and safety at work are regulated by the Healthy and Safe Working Conditions departments in the head office and in the branches, and by the Occupational Health Services under them in accordance with Ordinance, No 3 dated 25th January 2008 on the terms and conditions for carrying out the activities of Occupational Health Services.

 

Counterparties

In the implementation of its activities and in connection with its powers Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD  processes the personal data of natural persons, which is aimed at the execution of contracts concluded by Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD within the meaning of the Obligations and Contracts Act, Public Procurement Act, Commerce Act, etc.

Insofar as the personal data of individual natural persons are processed in relation to the execution of these contracts, the minimum of information, which is only sufficient for the accurate fulfillment of obligations under the relevant contract, is processed for them. Third parties only have access to this information when this is provided for by a special law.

Customers

In the execution of contracts with our clients, we process personal data, connected with requests for coal supply to consumers and coal distribution among extraction sections.

Video surveillance

Video surveillance for security purposes is performed at Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD. Video surveillance recordings are stored for a period of one month. Certain employees have access to the data in the context of the fulfillment of their duties.

Visitors

Personal data processing of Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD visitors is done by Mini Maritsa Iztok employees and a processor – security companies chosen following public procurement procedures. The aim of personal data collection is to identify the natural persons visiting the head office of Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD and the Company`s branches, as well as to exercise access control.

Complaints, reporting, and other claims

Complaints, reporting, and other claims in connection with exercising the powers of Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD as a controller shall be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions of the legislation in force.

When processing the information contained in the complaints, reporting, and other claims, lodged with Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD, only personal data relevant to the particular case shall be processed. The data known to Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD in this respect may be provided to third parties only if this is provided for by law.

 

Exercising the rights within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 before Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD in its capacity as a controller:

You have the right to exercise your rights under Articles 15-22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 before Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD with regard to the personal data Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD processes for you.

When making requests to exercise rights within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 before Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD you will be required to prove your identity by providing an identity document.

The personal data processed in connection with individual claim consideration shall be used only for the purposes of exercising those rights. In this respect, personal data may be provided to third parties only if this is provided for by law.
