Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD is one of the biggest taxpayers and insurers in the Central Southern Region. In 2007 the company paid taxes amounting to BGN 58 648 000, of which BGN 26 918 000 VAT, BGN 17 906 000 Income Tax, BGN 5 015 000 dividends to the state and BGN 3 809 000 Profit Tax. In 2007 the amount paid for social and health insurance was BGN 48 199 000.
GENERAL STRUCTURE OF EXPENDITURES DURING THE PERIOD 2003 – 2007
In 2007 The company increased its revenues by BGN 42 672 000 compared to 2006, as a result the accounting profit rose by BGN 1 996 000 .
Total expenditures amounted to BGN 372 901 000 in 2007. Of these personnel costs had the highest relative share (40.28%), as well as costs of materials (27.86%). Personnel costs increased by BGN 22 274 000 compared to 2006, whereas costs of materials rose by BGN 4 752 000.
