Stakeholders engagement plan (SEP) the document is into the process of developing, which is created to manage the communication between “Mini Maritza-iztok “EAD and stakeholders and assists in Company planning and implementation of future activities.
The Plan describes specific measures for disclosure of information to stakeholders on potential environmental and social impacts associated with the Project. This document also contains the mechanisms provided for stakeholder feedback as well as a grievance mechanism that may arise during the implementation of the Project.
The EU-funded Projects Unit, the Investments Department, are committed to implement, updating and monitoring the SEP, the both - project implementation and management, managed by a Project Manager.
The unit with “EU-funded Projects and international programmes experts” has the follow responsibilities:
Updating of SEP will continue to reflect changes in the Project at least once a year.
“Mini Maritza-iztok “EAD understands the relevant with it stakeholders and the company implements a communication program to provide new information on mining activities.
SEP is a document, which must be periodically updated during implementation and after completion of the Project. “Mini Maritsa – iztok” EAD will however continue to inform the public through its website, the media and in other appropriate ways on all significant project achievements and issues (environmental,humanitarian andsocial).
